Mr. Bishop received a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University in 2000, and his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2004. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Bishop worked in the education and investment banking industries. Prior to joining the Michael B. Allen Law Group, Mr. Bishop interned with the San Francisco Public Defenders Office, an international intellectual property law firm located in Bangkok, Thailand and worked for the State Bar of California’s Office of Professional Competence. Mr. Bishop was also an author of the "Ethics Update" article for the State Bar of California, Calbar Journal from 2002 thru 2004.
Mr. Bishop is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association, and holds membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Society, as well as the Golden Key National Honors Society.
Mr. Bishop’s practice is focused on real estate, business litigation and construction defect litigation, and is experienced in all aspects of real estate law including transactional issues. Mr. Bishop’s clients include included financial institutions, contractors, developers, private investors, landlords, tenants and nationally known real estate brokerage firms.
Mr. Bishop was selected as one of Northern California’s "Rising Stars" for 2009 by the Northern California Super Lawyers Magazine.
